Khan is a Full Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Public Health at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC), USA, and a Visiting Professor at Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. Many of his graduate students are professionally developed as chair, faculty member, biostatistician, and health informatician in numerous universities and healthcare industries across USA. He is a member of several professional associations including the American Statistical Association, American Public Health Association, and Royal Statistical Society. He has contributed numerous peer-reviewed scientific research publications in statistics, biostatistics, and biomedical fields. He is a research methodologist with research interests in cardiovascular disease, stroke, cancer, asthma, diabetes, obesity, healthcare data analysis, statistical modeling, and Bayesian predictive analysis. Dr. Khan serves as a professional Editorial Board Member for numerous reputable journals including Statistical Papers and Computational Statistics.

He is serving as the Director of Research, OB/GYN Residency and Neonatology Fellowship program, Texas A and M University, College of Medicine. He is the Executive & Scientific Director, Orion Institute of Translational Medicine, Temple, Texas and Founder & Chief Scientific Officer, Emergent Biotechnologies, LLC, Temple, Texas. Dr. Nasir Uddin has published remarkable number of research papers in renowned journals. He has served as a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Nasir Uddin is a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences of Daffodil International University.
